Tumblr

Currently Tumblr is my favorite website. Tumblr is a website that lets you share anything. The site is easy to navigate and you can post photos, videos, links, audio and quotes. The reason I like Tumblr is because how simple it is to get started. Although it is easy to get started, customizing is endless. The design aspect of the site are very sleek and consistent. It has one consistent color scheme throughout. On the "dashboard" which is basically your home page, everything you need is directly in view and easily accessible.  The interactivity of the site is great. Reblogging a post from someone else is just one click away. Commenting on a blog post is also just as simple. Another feature I find useful is that when reblogging you dont need to worry about putting a source because Tumblr does it for you. Overall, I think Tumblr is very easy to use and also fun. How I made my blog look better.

I made my blog look better by applying all of the design aspects discussed. I used contrast by making my post header background red and the text white. This make the post title stand out a bit more. I also kept my background white and my blog title text black. This really make the title stand out. For alignment I used side borders to keep everything that belongs together grouped. I used repetition in my bolg by making all of my body text the same font and all of my headings the same fonts. I didn't want to use so much proximity because I like the way my blog looked with some white space. I used some of the advice from my comment and added color and a background image. This made my blog have some more depth.

I want a degree from UTSA because...

I want a degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio because higher education is a must have in any decent paying job. Aside from just a high school diploma, a bachelors degree gives you an advantage. It gives you the upper hand in a tough job market. Aside from that I also enjoy learning new things.I think it is pretty easy to go to college with so many scholarships available. UTSA gives me the opportunity to learn and earn a bachelors degree and at a reasonable price. Although I receive financial aid, it is still not enough to cover all tuition. But I can still afford it. Not to mention it is close to home.
